Because it doesn't catch harmful/tracking cookies

yes, but I DONT want to delete my cookies...

I login to more than 50 forums/sites and I want to keep my cookies / site prefrences...which is why SAS is a perfect solution... it removes only the bad ones...

Not like SAS is running in real time...it doesn't harm to run it once a day

How about creating a whitelist in CCleaner and scheduling a daily cleanup? No need to worry about what SAS *might* have missed.

So with you take on what constitutes *harmful* and you only scan once a day to remove what you term as *harmful* then what is protecting you from that *harm* inbetween your daily scan when your surfing the web ?

FYI Neo your harm prevention is pwned....just as well they are not harmful afterall

MBAM Pro works well with most AVs.

If you are prone to browser exploits, then the realtime guard is better than most AVS (IMO from my own testing) at catching trojans before they can launch and do harm.

The IP blocker works great - I've not had a false positive in over a year. The notification gets annoying if you are using bittorent.

A lot of people buy the Pro version as a "thank you" donation for the great scanner and clean that the free version of Malwarebytes is.

This program is a no brainer, especially for the non-antimalware savy majority. I have had the free version on my parents computer for a couple years, but my dad often forgets to run it, or runs the scans without updating first. To top if off, he tends to pickup his fair share of malware.

I will be giving him a license to alleviate those issues. It will help catch what his AV misses in realtime. Also, it will update and scan on schedule, so he won't have to worry about it anymore. Well worth the few bucks. This is the third MBAM license I have purchased.

I am a huge fan of lifetime licenses, and try to support those companies that offer them. Malwarebytes, Sandboxie, Shadow Defender, Win Patrol Plus, Super Antispyware, etc.. I will also probably buy a Twister license once it goes 64bit, assuming they are still offering them at the time.
