Hi trjam, it is supposed to work with Windows Mail, what problem are you having? If it is not working, just put it in Train Me mode temporarily, and then start Windows Mail. Once Windows Mail is up, you can take it out of Train Me mode. What version of Windows Mail are you using?
So far, I must say it's a pretty interesting program. As for the price, I have no problem with a yearly subscription, as long as development is active. A discount for renewals wouldn't hurt. Might not be a bad idea to have your own support forum in the future either.
Sorry, I didn't see this post. Basically, we did not want to break any US export laws. Once we have the legal issues resolved, we will be able to release VS worldwide, which hopefully will be very soon.
hello people now it is opened for worldwide beta testing enjoy it. ps: i just downloaded to confirmation myself
kmr1685, Thanks for sharing the news, but still no go for me. VoodooShield, During registration, I received an error message: "Sorry, an error occurred while confirming your registration". According to the log, it indicates "String was not recognized as a valid DateTime". I am using DD/MM/YYYY format here. Thanks.
We are hoping to have VoodooShield available outside the US today or tomorrow, it will work for you then. We also should have the next beta release available this week. Thank you!
A couple of questions please. The splash screen at start up shows beta expires on Dec 31 2011,will it be out of beta at that time.? Also is there a way to disable that splash screen, its a little annoying to have to click ok every boot up to get it out the way. Another issue I am having. After startup VoodooShield is not running all the time and there is no running process and have to manually start it for protection. Two different macihine same OS windows 7 32 bit Home Premium.I will report it to the Dev team thanks.
Hi djohn, We are going to disable the splash screen in the next beta version, I know what you mean, it is annoying. It should be available this week. We are not sure when VoodooShield will be finished beta testing, but we will make sure that a working beta version is always available. On the startup issue, in the settings screen, is the box checked to start VoodooShield with windows? There might be a bug that is not allowing it to start, so if that box is checked, we better look into it. Thank you!
Yes the box is checked, and just to be sure I checked to be sure it was not being blocked by otheir security and I can rule that out because on 1 machine there is no other security on it other then basic windows defender and windows firewall.2 machines are netbooks so they get shut down after use.In one instance the machine with defender and widows wall the splash screen showed and shortly after it terminated from task bar and the desktop icon vanished.
Hmmm, we better get to the bottom of this. Do you have different email / password registrations for all of the computers, or do you use the same one for all of your computers?
Same email and password but I unistalled it and registered same email and password and reinstalled on the machine with no third party security, other then that Both machine are identical models.
If VoodooShield does not start on Windows startup, please make sure that each computer has its own email and password registration.
VoodooShield is now available in all countries except the following! We apologize for the delay. If anyone outside the USA has problems, please let us know. Cuba - CU Iran - IR North Korea - KP Sudan - SD Syria - SY Thank you! VoodooSoft, LLC
Hello VoodooShield, I am still unable to register successfully for the beta. Is there something to do with the date format that I used (using DD/MM/YYYY here). Thank you. Update: I have managed to register only after changing the format under "Region and Language" setting on my PC to "English (United States)". Bear in mind that certain region of the world are using "DD/MM/YYYY" (example: Commonwealth countries) and not "MM/DD/YYYY". This is the first time I need to change my date format to install a software. Log after changing to "English (United States)"
