build .125. is there any known issue that the "new" mailwasher with internal edge view do not show html content? in some cases i get an error popup. pressing "download" change nothing. otherwise i have to bother support and in worst case i step back before .97 or leave mw. edit: build .138 shows content, but i consider it not as final, i dont like such conditions.

There is a workaround from MW forum = In my case= a) v.125 stable installed b) Start MW and go to= Settings>>Spam Tools>>Firstalert, uncheck, "Use Firstalert" and click Save. c) v.125 updated to v.173 and worked.
from time to time i create backup, last longer working was build 163 which is also crashing now right after first start. build 173/175 is crashing right on windows startup - now. the only changes after 11'aug were only edge and edge webview, no windows update. starting last days windows 8.1 with MW 7.12.56 which is 2 years old hat no problems using the current data base, and also not the build 173 as an update. to admit that win8 got stuck on edge/webview 109. i am pretty sure that the crashes are edge related. again a local copy of MWP build 173 is crash, i will try it your way. nope, build 173 is crashing right after loading webview, with previous tries it crashed right after start without loading webview. #2 same happens on win11 22H2, build 125 as the last (tested) final is working well, any other above .150 is crashing. i did not test unchecking "First Alert", this is a paid feature i use, so dammit fix it. to avoid useless reinstallations a workaorund: search for a "spamtoolsettings.xml" in your user folder beyond %appdata%\Firetrust, open in with notepad++ or similar good editor and set line 22 to "False" as the following example Code: <FirstAlert Enable="False" Cache="3" HideEmails="False" HideEmailOption="MarkedForDelete" AutoDelete="False" />
