Mozilla has too rigid an attitude about some extensions.
Firefox will hardly ever be my favorite browser because of this feature of theirs as well.
Some extensions that you can find for all chromium-based browsers are off limits in the Firefox Store.
It has happened to me several times that an extension has been de-listed from the Firefox Store.

Not least this decision of theirs perfectly in line with what I wrote above:

My most useful add-on is OneTab. It's a functionality that should have been natively implemented into Firefox years ago.
It's also available for Chrome, Edge and Safari.

I guarantee it's Google. Also carrier is Google Fi. No way it isn't always listening.

I will give it a try. Some other tab-saving extensions made my browser crash or were otherwise heavy. The problem I see is that it is saving them to flat structure (list), but at least may it will be reliable.

Vivaldi has built-in second level tab management aka Tab Stacks, while Edge has tab groups. Ideally this tab management would be somehow saveable and restoreable to/from file.

I am not saying it wasn't Google. I suspect that if they listen, they do it through some of their voice assistant and apps. Most of that crap can be controlled via Android permissions and such. The fact that most people don't do regular Android permission checkup is different story.

    1. uBlock Origin Lite
    2. HLS Downloader
HLS downloader (MV2) does not have the same reliability as Stream Recorder available only for Chrome.

    P.S.

If any forum members know of other similar extensions with MP4 downloads (not VideoDownloaderHelper) I would appreciate it.
    Thank you.

I replaced uBlock Origin Lite with uBlock Origin.
I got faster speed by using some FastFox.js settings.
The increased responsiveness allowed me to include 2 extensions with identical functionality compared to Edge.

    1. uBlock Origin
    2. VideoDownloadHelper
    3. HLS Downloader
