    Hi Erik,

Version 3 looks very interesting :thumb:
    When can we try it?
I see there is a license mentioned in the screenshots.
    It is not free anymore?

"Security enthusiasts and IT professionals are invited to come to booth #2503 at the RSA Conference USA, February 24-28, 2014, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco (CA), where we will reveal the new product for the first time and show its effectiveness using both real-world exploits and a soon to-be-released HitmanPro Exploit Test tool."

A bit too far to attend ;)

    Looking very interesting :)
Btw, will v2.6 stable still be released or skipped in favor of v3?

EDIT: And how about the advanced info on browser intrusion that was present in v1?

A public beta version will be released after RSA Conference USA 2014.

The per application exploit mitigation feature requires a HitmanPro license. All other features in Alert are free.

There is no difference between a HitmanPro or Alert license.
If you already own a HitmanPro license, you get Alert exploit mitigations for free.
If you do not yet own a license but decide to purchase one, you get HitmanPro for free.
Basically, a license unlocks both HitmanPro and Alert to their full potential.

    Hope this helps.

Full compatibility with both EMET and MBAE. Alert can get mitigation profiles from the cloud for optimal configuration and compatibility.

Working on it, although its harder to implement due to the various ways audio can come into the computer.

Everything, except exploit mitigation, which will require a HitmanPro license. If you already have a HitmanPro license, you get this as a free bonus. If you buy a license for Alert, you get HitmanPro for free. One license for all.

is Surfright planning on keeping the free version of 3.0 around when the product finally comes out of Beta, or will it eventually morph into a paid product only?

Safe browsing (Intruder scan), CryptoGuard, Keystroke encryption, Webcam notifier, Hollow Process blocker and Vaccination against vm-aware malware are all free. These are all signature-less features and ensure that you are alerted in case of banking trojans, crypto-ransomware (like Cryptolocker), Remote Access Trojan (RAT) or other malware on your system.
These features are free and remain free.

Only the exploit mitigation feature requires a license. If you already have a HitmanPro license, then you get exploit mitigation for free. Alert and HitmanPro use the same license.

    Hope this helps.
