FYI: GRISOFT AVG 8 Public Beta 2 released today

Also is it a free upgrade for people 8? also does it scan firefox links in the webshield thanks..

i noticed wouldnt let me sign into msn 9 beta, so unticked msn sheild then i could also

i couldnt get this page going? is it dodgy or avg webshield saying it is, or could it be addblockplus or addmuncher

I gave it a try.
Keyed in my license and expiration shows 1-1-2010, so that works.
Can't get the anti-spam module working, it did but after the first update nada. (for me not an important issue).
52 Mb total working set
Don't notice any slowdowns.

Well, I had an isolated bug with the Resident Shield where the alerts just would not show at all. This is a very isolated bug but I have been able to reproduce it again and again with fresh installations of Windows.

However, I have not noticed such behaviour on any other PC, nor is Grisoft able to reproduce it. Every other AV works without any problems at all on my PC, only AVG is throwing a fit

I hope this is fixed for me with version 8.....

BTW: aigle, I have not forgotten about your PM, its just that I have been WAY too busy these days....I will try
