Same here!!! RSS works like a charm and for those who have issues w/ VSS....this feature is a MUST.

I really hope that Todd leaves it in because I can't use FD-ISR w/o it.

Do we have to send out another "blank" email to get the fixed/updated version...or will it be automatically emailed to those who have already received the 3.31.232 version?

Thanks to Todd and everyone here for your support!!!

Hi Todd I have tried 4 times to get an E Mail thru to get the new version. I hope the last one made it. They were being rejected as spam.

    Hi WilliamP,

By any chance, did you leave the subject blank? For me, I had to put something in the subject line for my email to pass...

    Best regards,

    Re: FirstDefense-ISR 3.31.232 *New Version*

As a non techie, I want to make sure I have everything straight before I uninstall my precious FDR to install the upgrade. I assume I can uninstall from the menu rather than the control panel add/remove. When I uninstall, my secondary snapshots will remain intact. When I install the new version, will my two secondary snapshots appear in the GUI on the left as they did before? If so, then I assume I can copy my primary new snapshot to my other snapshots. If not, how do I get my secondaries into the new version? Thanks

    Re: FirstDefense-ISR 3.31.232 *New Version*

Just finished installing FD-ISR myself from a prior version of BootBack.
I uninstalled the program ,only, from the menu.
    Ran Ccleaner then installed.
The secondary snapshots do stay on the left.
I then copied the primary to the second without problem.
Rebooted into the second and then back to the first without problem.
All procedures were flawless and I love the GUI, especially the frog, over what BootBack had.

    Thanks Todd! :thumb:

After uninstalling the Raxco version....I also deleted the main "$ISR" folder (w/ MBR backup) in c:/, the FDISR folder in c:/program files and all other ISR files/folders BEFORE installing the new version.

Was DELETING those folders okay.....or should they have been kept? o_O

    Re: FirstDefense-ISR 3.31.232 *New Version*

    Mine were all deleted also.
I did run the reg cleaner in Ccleaner before I installed FD-ISR.
The only reminder of BootBack on my system are two installers I kept, just in case, but let me be quick to add, I'll probably never need or use.
FD-ISR is running very well! :D

    Re: FirstDefense-ISR 3.31.232 *New Version*

I have admittedly fallen behind in keeping up with the Wilders forum, much to my dismay. However, I have not forgotten about one of my all-time favorite apps, FD-ISR. Also, I must confess that I began to get worried about the future of FD-ISR upon hearing that Raxco was going to stop selling it. One thing that I have never wavered on though is my faith in Todd as both a first-rate developer and an overall genuinely good person. As we say in the law and regarding my claim that Todd is a first rate developer, res ipsa loquitur (the thing speaks for itself). [see FD-ISR]. Regarding my claim of Todd being a good person, I would like to present as evidence that Todd seems to be continuing, in a seemingly altruistic fashion, the development and support of a product that has all but been discontinued. I’m impressed.

Now let me get to the real reason I posted. I am honored that something I said so long ago (relating to FD-ISR equating to making love down by a fire) has had the privilege of providing humor to the great folks behind such a great product. However, I recently discovered that I’ve been doing it wrong for all these years. Now that I’ve figured it out, FD-ISR is a wonderful product, but I have to qualify. FD-ISR is not quite as loveable as properly executed lovemaking down by the fire. Please don't interpret the previous sentence as detracting in any way from FD-ISR as a quality product. It’s just that properly executed lovemaking down by the fire is really, really good.

In all sincerity, I really like what you are doing at Leapfrog Software, Inc.

Well, I know that FD-ISR in its original form is not being offered any longer.

But what if someone has a copy they no longer want or need (which is hard to imagine ), are they able to transfer or sell their software license to another person ?

    Just askin' ....... :)

I've spent more than a few bucks in the last month for ATI as well as RB and am very sad that this package is not being sold any longer.

    Thanks, Tim

We all feel that way and there is no alternative to replace FDISR with the same possibilities. All alternatives are less than FDISR, they are too simple or use a total different method.

Actually FD-ISR original IS like love making as I remember it. That's not being offered any more either. :doubt:

Well it may not be love making, but no "protection" is needed with it.
