Indeed they "hide" some essential information about their software quite good. The subscription period (for "Deep Freeze Standard") is 3 years (obviously you can see this only after you have transferred the product into the shopping cart): So if I combine all your information correctly, this means: After buying a license I will get updates for three years. If I do not renew the license after this period, I can continue to use the product (in its old version). (?)
New updates for deep freeze. https://www.faronics.com/en-uk/document-library/document/deep-freeze-standard-release-notes
It is actually a very important update as it supports core isolation whereas Shadow Defender won't even start with core isolation on, crashing the machine irreversibly, or giving a blue screen. Personally it doesn't matter in my case, as I've decided not to use any virtualizer on my windows 11 machine, but now Deep Freeze has a definite advantage over Shadow Defender, making the machine absolutely impenetrable with core isolation active.
I don't get it, release notes page says June 26, 2024 while the DF signed executable says January 23, 2024. Did they release it 6 months later after signing it? Weird.
