AdGuard for Android, version 3.4 from May 21, 2020 https://adguard.com/en/versions/android/release.html
Hmmmm. Just got around to noticing that the PURCAHSE link on the home page opens a singular, unique license.html page where the FAQ states, "AdGuard license keys are universal and work on any device (Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS)." The KB is more specific: "all types of licenses are universal. You can use any license to activate AdGuard on any of the operating systems - Windows, Mac, Android, or iOS" Wording should be "activate any AdGuard product." My two "License type: Mobile - Expiration date: Lifetime" purchases in late 2018 and early 2019 for less than $20 each were a bargain made in paradise. I got the lifetimes after coming to my senses, having purchased yearly renewals for almost six years... If today were my first time purchase, for my Galaxy tablet and Moto phone, lifetimes would work out to $40 each. Still worth it. But, a customer wanting a one device license must pay $2.49 a month or a one-time $79.99. In the biz, that would be called a "No Sale." That said, the Google Android SOC-locked OS being the piece of monopolistic garbage that it is, the value of AdGuard for Android is priceless.
FYI: that "list of browsers" is relevant only to the non-Premium (aka free) version where ad blocking is disabled for all apps but those browsers. Premium works for all apps, browsers or otherwise. Interestingly, most of the system core protection remains active. IMHO, the power and granularity of control over its firewall and for DNS is unparalleled. As I recall, free kicks in if the Premium trial isn't licen$ed prior to the trial expiration.
https://stacksocial.com/sales/adguard-family-plan-lifetime-subscription $29.99 https://stacksocial.com/sales/adguard-personal-plan-lifetime-subscription $19.99 i bought the personal as new customer (addidional: i had another coupon for 10 bucks) but my sum was 29.99 - so this is really cheap. i use the latest nightly without flaws
AdGuard for Android, Version 3.6.8 from April 27, 2022 https://adguard.com/en/versions/android/release.html#version-3646
AdGuard for Android 3.6.11, Release date: January 20, 2023 https://adguard.com/en/versions/android/release.html#version-3654
important notice for nightly users. adguard re-designed its app. filtered apps now have no longer one settings, they have 2 or more, means: rights are handled in several sections. adguard resetted to "final" build, need to set on "nightly" again. filter settings (and its used filters) are not opened that easily as before (old ui). for german users: there is a lot of english inside, not translated, you might guess or trial out a bit. just updated only my xiaomi, i will refuse for my samsung while the development process is not finished. save the previous app with old ui and its settings! Edit reverted to previous nightly, i cant disable annoying block notices without disabling all messages. That option is lost for apps in latest nightly.
