    dude, the only time I notice slowdown is when I first start my browser after turning on my pc after that there should be no more slowdowns, also...

    just noticed winpatrol is not actually running in "real-time" it would give the alert a number of seconds after the change to the system was done.

    Do you use real time Anti-Virus protection?

    NO - just don't feel any need for a real-time AV, but i do run on-demand scans from time to time using hitman pro.
