I've used it since V2. No product is perfect, it is too much to ask of anyone. I've tested just about all of them over the last (almost) 30 years and they've all had their issues. I can say for the last (about) 4 years or so I have had zero complaints with ESET products. I almost forget I am running it. No crashes, no freezes, no false positives. I could name at least 3 products that give me enough false positives that I would rather run nothing. But I won't. :p

    Hi @Antarctica,
I don't know. As far as I remember that depends on the reseller (but that might have been changed).
Long ago we had member @webyourbusiness. But I haven't seen him or her for a long time (as far as I remember). I do hope that he or she is doing well!
webyourbusiness was (or still is) reseller for the USA and Canada at the site Better Antivirus https://www.betterantivirus.com/
Years ago they had some kind of discount on Cyber Monday as I noticed on the blog there https://www.betterantivirus.com/eset/blog/

I really don't know whether there will be deals this year. Maybe you could try to ask him/her or maybe via that website Better Antivirus.

@Thankful and @FanJ, thanks to both of you. My actual subscription has ended a month ago. Right now I just use WD, so I will see what happened on Black Friday…:thumbd:

This issue has been around for a while. There is an earlier thread at Eset forum dealing with this issue.
    https://forum.eset.com/topic/38521-secured-browser-keyboard-protection-firefox-mistyped-characters/
Caused by safe banking module. If you are running KeyScrambler, try disabling it. Another suggestion is to give the pre-release channel a try.
I have already run Log Collector and sent it to Eset.

Did anyone noticed that the robot logo has disappeared from their website? Too bad as it was symbolic of ESET...

It's been gone for a while. I don't really miss it but I don't care either way. It made me think if I, Robot every time I saw it.

    Wise decision.
The robot addressed only a small amount of possible buyers.

well, I never questioned myself to which audience it was target. It was just different from the « others ». Now what? Premium, Ultimate like any other company…

Weird stuff. I wonder if they have identified the combination of things that cause it. I have not seen it myself.

Thank you all for posting about the keyboard swapping characters issue, I've been having it random times for the last week or so but hadn't figured out any pattern. 17.0.15.0/Win10Pro Just now as I checked the version and ran update it is ready to install a newer version so fingers crossed.

How do you upgrade your ESET subscription? I have not found any info on how to do it.

Do you mean product update versus subscription update?

Best way to do this is from the Eset in-country eStore web site you originally purchased your Eset license from. Note that not all Eset in-country distributors offer this capability.

    I also believe you might be able to perform a product upgrade from your Eset Home account but I haven't tried this method;

I have Eset Internet Security and it's supposed to be upgraded automatically to Eset Home Security. Hasn't happened yet. Will this occur at some point?

You'd probably get a better answer faster on their forum.
