    YYYYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSS :D :D :)

    I've got a new PC !!!!!

My first XP (home, Dutch) machine ;)
My first new machine in about 7 years (maybe more).

    P4 630, 3.0 GHz,
    Gigabyte GA-8I915PLG LGA775/PCI-E mobo,
    512 MB RAM,
    HD: WD 80 GB S-ATA,
DVD: NEC ND3550 DVD +/- Dual Layer,
    Video card: XFX Geforce 6200,
    Floppy drive

It's a present from a very dear friend.
(No, you don't know her although I sometimes post as guest from her machine).
    Lots and lots and lots of thanks A !!!!!!!!!! :-* :-* :-*
No way that I myself could have afford it ....

It was a Celeron machine, and I paid to get the P4.

Well, it is actually just in the box at the moment.....

LOL, be prepared for a lot of questions ;)
Questions in the first place about unneeded services
And then: I still have not decided which firewall to run (still running AtGuard on my W98SE machine).

    WOOOOHOOOOOO :D :D :D
