    Hello,
I have upgraded to EAV 3. Under "Email protection", "POP3" and "Email clients", I have added Xnews.exe, a newsgroups reader able to read and send emails. I also use it to see attachments in news groups. It can decode Yenc format, and multipart pictures or videos.

When I look at "protection status" then "email protection" and "number of scanned messages", it always shows zero. I used BlackSpear's setting and all the modules are enabled. Does it mean nod32 doesn't scan the emails of Usenet when I use Xnews ? I'm worried because some of them may have infected attachment. (See what I mean ?)

    Thank you.

Only POP3 traffic is scanned transparently. With MS Outlook, all email is scanned regardless of the protocol used because the plugin receives the data to scan directly from MS Outlook via MAPI.
