    Hi ;)

    Prevent script based attacks on Windows Media Player

    . Regedit
    . Go to : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferences
    . Create a new DWORD value
    . name : "PlayerScriptCommandsEnabled" value : 0

    It will prevent WMP to open Webpages containing scripts.

    That's rather interesting, to say the least...

    I wonder what other code is hidden in WMP? Time to start creating lots of random registry entries to see what else I can get disabled ;).

    Glad you like it.

    I figured since we were starting to see exploits relating to WMP scripting, that it was necessary to help people disable scripting in WMP as soon and as easily as possible.
