Hi, In the application in the the system cleaner settings panel, why does it show CNet Techtracker and Glary Utilities when they are not installed in my system? The two were installed in my pc. But that was more than a year ago. I've installed and uninstalled so many software over time. And out of all the uninstalled software why is wsa showing those two? Best Regards, ams963
It only shows software which it will clean - it is likely that those utilities don't have temporary files which the System Cleaner will remove.
Maybe I misread, but it looks like you are asking "Why does it show them when they are not installed?". I'd expect that the system cleaner looks for either specific registry entries or file folders to determine if something is installed. If the software uninstalled but left its registry keys behind, then chances are the system cleaner is detecting those, and showing it, even if there are no actual files being set in for it to clean up.
yes you've read right...... maybe you're absolutely right....I've searched everything but couldn't find anything that says glary utilities and CNet Techtracker....even with hidden files shown......
ah! after deleting keys in the registry editor of glary utilities and techtracker.....wsa is no more showing them in the system cleaner.....my prob is solved.....yay.....
