Sygate question?

    I ran Installed the latest ver. of SFP free and rebooted and got this grey box that said:
    Windows Registry Checker
    windows encountered an error accessing the systems registry.
    Windows will restart the system registry.

    Any fix to this kind of problem? I went back to ZA 2.1 for the time being.

    Sounds like you are using Windows ME
    I think you need to redownload it and try again.
    Disable all other stuff running first of course.

    Nope not using Win ME. I'm using Win98. Sorry forgot to include that. Ok I'll tryi it and see if it works.

    make sure you totally uninstall zone alarm before you try to install another firewall. if you dont, it will cause problems. and it takes more than just removing it from add/remove programs. check out this page. i dont know what version of ZA you are using but this page should be helpful anyway.
