I cannot open the Shields Up scan at GRC. I will get a ne.dll trying to download to my PC. This has happened with others. I have tried the very few recommended solutions to no avail. I am thinking the problem is on their end. Anyone with thoughts on this?
I just tried and didn't have any problem. I was using the latest Firefox on Win10. Not much help, I know. Sorry.
Thanks Krusty. This is a strange thing. I tried with Firefox,LibraWolf and Floorp (latest versions of all). I have been visiting the GRC site a couple of times per month for a great many years and have never had a problem until now. Anyone else with thoughts?
Okay I turned up my Firewall within my Modem/Router from low to medium and it will not scan and I got that downloaded file so that could be the issue. Firewall settings in the IP Modem/Router. And I tried 3 times.
Isn't there already in the URL for Shields Up that ne.dll ? https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?ABCDEFGH Replace those characters A to H in that URL (with whatever I'm not posting)
