Hello. eset security suite keeps freezing when i do standard or custom scans. It stops at 22% on standard and 14 % on custom. I have to stop eset running by way of task manager,as clicking on stop does not work.

The scans now seem to work ok,after i tried each one about 6 times without success. maybe gremlins .
Have you tried running a scan after the latest update 3308? Even if it may seem to be stalling, it may be scanning a folder with many files inside. Enabling logging of all scanned files would confirm or deny my assumption.
Hello Marcos Thank you for your help. It appears to be ok now. I did a scan after the latest update and all seems well. When it froze it did so on the same file,and i waited for a while, but nothing. i believe it was an exe file. Also when i clicked on the stop button,nothing would happen either. Now the stop button stops it.
