Installed OK but why i'm getting cert expired dialog? Code: (DATE: 21.11.2021 TYPE: PATREON) The supporter certificate has expired, please get an updated certificate (DATE: 21.07.2022 TYPE: PATREON-ENTRY) The supporter certificate will expire in 0 days, please get an updated certificate Spoiler: Cert Additional Node: if the system generates you a TYPE: PATREON-ENTRY certificate but you already have one that is "TYPE: PATREON" or "TYPE: PATREON-SMALL" than keep the one you have its valid for 1 year from the date of issuance, while the ENTRY certs are only valid for 3 monts, but can be renewed every month. Also once you wer a patreon for long enough to pay in 10€ or more you will get first SMALL than a MEDIUM then a LARGE and if you are contributing on the top teats at some point a HUGE certificate.
@DavidXanatos I was surprised but not upset to get an "expired supporter certificate" notification when I installed Plus 1.2.4, although I see my "expired key" (Personal-Small) is dated 15.12.2021? Only when clicking through do I see it is now an annual charge, and I think the "add to cart" buttons should be removed from the landing page and put on the page where the license details are given. Apart from a desire to continue to support SB, do I need it - is there a matrix comparing free v supporter?
So that it will not be forgotten: Using "UseRegDeleteV2=y" causes the following error messages: firefox.exe (2704): SBIE2206 Fehler bei der Ausführung von AutoExec-Einstellung -2 [C0000022] firefox.exe (2704): SBIE2309 Konnte nicht deaktivieren COM+/DCOM: [21 / C0000022] firefox.exe (2704): SBIE2312 Konnte die BrowseNewProcess-Einstellung nicht aktivieren: [77 / C0000001] I ran some tests in my VM and found out what are the conditions for the error messages: The error messages caused by "UseRegDeleteV2=y" (not by "UseFileDeleteV2=y") are only triggered if the application is forced into the sandbox and the sandbox is cleaned automatically. This way I can reliably reproduce the error messages: 1.) Install the latest Firefox (102.0.1, 64-bit) into a clean VM (running Windows 11, 21H2, 64-bit). 2.) Install the latest version of Sandboxie (v1.2.4, 64-bit). 3.) In Sandboxie.ini, add "UseRegDeleteV2=y" under [GlobalSettings], "AutoDelete=y" and "ForceProcess=firefox.exe" under [DefaultBox]. 4.) Start Firefox and open a locally saved PDF via CTRL+O. (In addition, I can reliably reproduce it on my Windows 10 host system.) This issue was first reported by "simbun": https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/sandboxie-plus-1-1-2.445628/#post-3088160 I can also confirm that the BSoD no longer occurs with win32k hooks.

I'm not sure if it's from Sandboxie, but when running Fall Guys (uses Easy Anti-Cheat, Epic Games, Unsandboxed) with Sandboxie version 1.2.4 installed, my system crashes at the EAC loading screen. (BSOD) Code: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (1e) KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE (139) KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION (13a)
The system does not crash when I replace the new driver (5.57.4.0) with the old one (5.57.1.0). I've reverted to the old version for now.
Thanks for the update and all the fixes. First observations: "Production" Opera v.89 works well and as expected. Whereas "Opera Developer" v.90 will still come up / initialize very sluggishly - but after 1/2 a minute or so of delay it will react to follow links again and only from then on it seems to operate normally and without further delay or remaining speed-wise handicap.
Sorry, the information in my previous post was last night's information. I tried again today with SBIE 1.2.4 and both games worked without any errors. The only difference is that today my certificate had expired completely. I don't know if it's because of a server-side change by EAC or because my certificate has expired. New World (uses EAC) no crash Fall Guys (Uses EAC) no crash Sandboxie-Plus-x64-v1.2.3 comes with 5.57.1.0
Hi, Under Assets: It only has (zip) and (tar.gz) Can you provide a download for Sandboxie-Plus-x64-v1.2.4.exe Please, looking forward, to the download, of Sandboxie-Plus-x64-v1.2.4.exe
@DavidXanatos Is there a reason the .exe files are no longer available here? https://github.com/sandboxie-plus/Sandboxie/releases/tag/v1.2.4
Certificate issues, as suggested in this github post (and perhaps more): https://github.com/sandboxie-plus/Sandboxie/issues/1495#issuecomment-1191178278 Waiting patiently, Hope the update is not re-released as v1.2.4 (could create confusion).
I'm sorry for the confusion I took the downloads down as they wrongfully say valid certificates are expired, a really stupid typo where there should be a * i got a + and did not notice in time as the issue only appears for certs older than a day and i tested with a new one. My friend from company that holds the certificate to sign the driver was not available yesterday evening to re sign the driver hence the delay. The fixed build should be signed today
@APMichael I have found the issue causing SBIE2206, SBIE2309, SBIE2312, with UseRegDeleteV2=y will be fixed in the next build
Great news! I'm very glad that the issue could be found and fixed. Now "UseRegDeleteV2=y" and "UseFileDeleteV2=y" can surely become the default setting in one of the upcoming versions.
