Thanks--I'm hanging in.I believe the habit itself is the hardest to kick not(the addiction)cigs are so incorprated into your life, the addiction to nicotine goes quickly,at least in my case--but that habit-it's a hard thing to let go of.

I've never been a smoker, so I don't know what you're going through. But I'm cheering you on and wishing the best for you.

:-* What ever support I can give, you've got it. I have been without the smokes for almost eleven years now, and I unabashedly say it is the best thing I have ever accomplished. I won't lie and say it was easy, it was anything but. The urge sometimes appears, but it does not last long any more. I live with two smokers, and even that does not tempt me to ever want to put that "CRAP" in or near my mouth again.

    Thanks
    Wildman

    Rita,
I wish you the strength to win the battle. It could be one of the best (and most difficult) things you do for yourself.
If you need, maybe this online resource could be of help?

    Good luck!

I know it's hard from my own experience,
but think at everything you'll gain by not smoking. :)
    Good luck Rita. :-*

Whenever the urge strikes...think of it that the Devil is sweet-talking to you ! *grrrrrr *puppy*

He wants nothing but destruction. Including your body destructed & wrecked. :-*

You'll never know exactly how close you are Nat. Rita, you have a secret weapon at your disposal. Just pray for God to take the cravings away. That's what I did and from day 1 I had none. :D
