    Hi

I've been messing around with Recuva to see what files are recoverable and some odd things are happening relating mostly to iTunes

When I use Recuva I can see thousands of files including some Mp3 files - not ones I remember deleting at any point. If I delete these using Recuva's secure delete or even Eraser's free space wipe (not deleting cluster tips for time reasons) then they appear to have gone. But the next day a load more MP3 files appear. They mostly seem to relate to the 2 same compilation albums. The same names and file location are often included.

Is Itunes doing something in the background? Or is Recuva playing up?

Also could anyone tell me if Eraser's free space wipe without cluster tips being ticked is a secure way of cleaning the space in terms of deleting the bulk of a file? I.e. if I'm really only interested in destroying the information in the file and not worried about the filename showing up?

    Thanks
