    Dear Owners of http://www.wilderssecurity.net/contact.html
I was interested in licensing some of your spyware software for resale. We have had success in selling other software via the internet (ie. Mcafee/Norton products).

Are you available to discuss the details? My email is tsmith@euniverse.com

    Kind regards,
    Todd

The software is free, and will remain so. I'm not sure why you would want to sell it?

I was curious to know if you would be open to another company "private labeling" the software under a different name and paying your company a royalty for each copy that is sold. This way you can continue to maintain your freeware applications under your current name, but share in the revenue derived from someone like us helping to promote your software under a different name.

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Thank you,
    Todd

I must humbly decline your offer.

Thank you for your interest. Please feel free to link to my freeware offerings, if you'd like.

I personally think this type of thread has no place in any forum! Must be one heck of an ethical company that Todd is part of. Selling software that is free by deceit. Geesh!

ts1729, If I missed something here.......please explain my error.

And Javacool, I hope they don't purposely misconstrue your last post as permission to hjijack your app, slightly change the interface and then sell it under their own name.

It's happened before - to both SpyBlocker and (I believe) SBS&D.

You have to really watch what you say.

And if they do decide to link to your free program, it'll bear watching - both from a bandwidth point-of-view, and to make sure that that the correct site gets credit for the d/l. Pete
