Does anyone know how to set the flags for automatic translation?
All languages except English and Spanish.

    Open about:config page in Firefox
Type 'browser.translations.enabled' in search bar and set preference to true.

If you want to enable automatic translations feature as well, set the 'browser.translations.autoTranslate' preference to true.

Restart Firefox to apply the changes.

If you decide to disable or remove the new translations feature, simply set the above mentioned preferences/flags browser.translations.enable and browser.translations.autoTranslate to false
    and restart Firefox.

To access Translations settings page, open Firefox Settings & keep “General” section selected
and in right-side pane, scroll down and you’ll see Language and Translations sections.
    Choose your options here.

You can also set per site from the icon in the address bar. For whatever reason it thinks this page is in German...

Hours ago I did it, I set them to "true".
Didn't work at all like if the whole feature were disabled or not functional at all. I'm going to try again.

I think it should be 'enable', not 'enabled'.
    browser.translations.enable

And are you sure it works in Firefox ESR 115.5.0?

    Nothing worked.
Not even setting all these flags, look:

I guess ESR version is not ready yet.

I'm thinking whether to migrate to normal Firefox, or not.
Should I wait a little bit more for ESR development?

Translate page should work in Firefox 115.5.0esr

Basically all I did was change browser.translations.enable to true

Open Firefox settings > select Translate page... from menu.
Popup box should appear to translate this page

    Translate from: Language
    Translate to: Choose a Language

Are you seeing Translate page from the Firefox menu and then when clicking
on it the popup box to Translate this Page? If so what happens when you click on it?

NOTE: The translation feature currently only handles text content on web pages, so
it won't translate non-text elements such as images, videos, or interactive elements.

I though point releases of ESR were security updates only. Makes it seem pointless if they are adding features. Might as well run the regular release.

Works fine here with ESR 115.5 I don't see Russian offered as one of the languages.

Screenshot 2023-11-29 at 11-49-31 How to Enable or Disable Automatic Translations in Firefox.png

Here is screenshot on WSF 'How to Enable or Disable Automatic Translations'
thread using FF 115.5.0esr translated into German.

NOTE: I haven't set automatic translations pref in about:config so to test a
page I enabled 'browser.translations.autoTranslate' and set it to true.
Result was a web page in Dutch was automatically translated to English.

Can you post the same link in your screenshot so I can test it?

Tested couple of your links - German to English worked.
    French to English also worked.

Disabling all extensions didn't work either.
I need to investigate this further, don't know when.
Thanks all of you for assisting me...

i suggest a better solution that firefox translations - i have it disabled, either my english is good enough, or i dont read foreign pages. for minor reason i use "QTranslate" which use google, MS or Deepl (currently not maintained as it seems)

FT is limited to languages. the mozilla extensions do not work as expected when FT went alive.

FF ESR is only showing 8 languages in about : preferences - Translations
    Bulgarian
    Dutch
    French
    German
    Italian
    Polish
    Portuguese
    Spanish

UBlock Origin extension is enabled so that doesn't seem to be an issue.
Adric and myself having no issue with translating. Don't know why
your unable to translate pages, but hopefully you will find a solution.

One thing you could try in Firefox ESR to see if translations issue is related to
your profile. Open FF ESR and create a new profile and run that profile. Just change
the preference 'browser.translations.enable' to true. If it works then your other profile
may have been causing translation issue.

Firefox ESR is essentially a more stable and tested version of regular Firefox. This is accomplished by holding back the latest feature upgrades, at least until they’ve been thoroughly tested in the main branch of Firefox. Most of the features will be the same as the regular edition of Firefox.

    wrong.
    https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/enterprise/
it is neither nor more or less stable, it is fixed to features upcoming with v115, but no newer features. it only get some (not all) fixes and all possible security fixes. and this for one year. regular users with esr always miss new features or never get them. FT=firefox translations are possible in 115 ESR, but no set alive because not ready. not ready means could be buggy in this state, only the next ESR has a stable code for FT.
as mozilla write it has most benefit in fixed areas, so enterprise environments where admins have limited time to support each current build. in fact 120.0.1 fixed a problem after few days when 120.0 went alive. this issue is tied to a feature that 115 ESR never got. 115 ESR also has no shopping advisor, it wont work even if you enable it.
if users have 115 esr installed and use css or script customizations for one year with ease, but they will get the full package of changes and often get angry because they cannot fix the changed themselves. using the 4 week rapid release has only small or no changes. user can decide what he wants, but they should keep this in mind.
anyhow chromium users have either nor the choice of custom css or scripts to modify the browser (not pages).:p
