    From the programs description
I guess that´s why it only works on Win9x ;)
The NT Task-manager is not so easily fooled.
Not that I don´t agree. I´ve recommended the program as well.

    Regards,

    Pieter

First of all, Hello Ari! I believe you have joined us since my short hiatus. Glad to have you here!!

Ari and Pieter, well, guess what? FS PRO Labs (developers of Hide Folders does have a version for XP!

    http://www.fspro.net/hfxp/index.html

I've never taken a look at this one. I've used FolderGuard and others and some of them are really pretty good. The most fascinating program I have ever seen is StealthDisk. Their site is down today and I hope that is just a technical glitch because the program is really revolutionary. It hides itself completely (hot-key enabled) and hides not only folders, but can completely hide anything on your system - even executables!

Here is the scoop from WebAttack:
    http://www.webattack.com/get/stealthdisk.shtml

I communicated with the guy from StealthDisk a few months back and he told me his Russian programmer told him the thing you most have to be careful about with any "folder hiding" program is to abide by their maximum recommended folder size - otherwise you can get in trouble real fast. I have also heard that from others. Anyway, StealthDisk is an interesting program, but this HidePro looks really good - thanks for telling us about it, Ari. I'm going to kick the tires and drive it around the block.

    All the best!

There was no need to go looking for me, Krusty.

I´ve got a special folder on my external hard-disk that is labeled "STAY AWAY Beta´s and spyware".
For some reason no-one ever tries to crack the password :D

    Regards,

    Pieter
