We’re in the middle of one of those shifts now, with advances in artificial intelligence. There are startups everywhere offering AI this or AI that, hoping to catch the wave and be The Next Big Thing™. Existing tech companies, particularly giants like Apple, Google, Meta and Amazon, are embedding AI wherever they can. Too often, it’s more annoying than useful.
