Than you to submit suspected files to Eset, it is good for all of us, and continue to do so but.... dont wait for an answer. According to what i have read here, Eset tech support dont have to time to answer, please understand.

    ;)

I know that they are very busy, but I often get responses from them. So I'm very grateful to ESET. The result is important. ;)

    Hello,

fix depends on analysis of detection and release of update. This needs a time.

    Regards

BTW, that is the second time that NOD32 detects False Positives in Advanced SystemCare Beta 3 (formerly Advanced Window Care).

Still no new update. The last update was yesterday. I think the problem will be corrected in the next update.

I wrote to ESET for this problem, half an hour before being released update 3515. For such a short time, they can not check everything. Please be patient.

    Hi Fixer ! :)

You know it very well but just a reminder that ESET do not answer all emails with submissions to their VirusLab and the fact the they have previous answered you doesn't mean they will do it again (or always do it again).

Sending the file just once is more than enough mostly because you weren't the only one who submitted that sample and I am more than sure that many many other people all over the world (including me) have done it . Submitting it over and over again will not persuade them react faster , for example , they have priorities and will correct/respond whenever they find the most appropriate :thumb:

Edit: One more thing I just saw - we are talking about potential FP in a beta software . The final version may well change some of the code , which new part may not be detected

    Hi! :)

I know ESET not always able to respond to all e-mail, but I often get a response from them (today again received a reply).

In the second e-mail that I sent to ESET, I added more details about the problem.

Perhaps you are right, but I think it is right to correct errors, which can prevent other current or future problems.

As of today (Oct 14) update 3519 (20081013) nothing changed - it is still reported as: probably unknown NewHeur_PE virus (size 1319992).

Actually one of the files was removed from detection yesterday, the other will be removed with the upcoming update.
