Am I right in assuming that "equi.exe" is part of the Smart Security package? If so, then why is it causing a problem at shutdown? Running Windows Vista business Smart Security 3.0.657 Is this some sort of malware, spyware? Thanks fot your help.
egui.exe is the GUI of ESS and if you Dbl-clk it you get the same Main Selection Page as Dbl-Clk'ing the Green Eye in the System tray. The Forum 'brains' can help you better if you state more details of the shutdown issue. If it rocks on and no great answer surfaces, you can always try an Uninstall / Re-Install.
