    Hi Blaze,

These are not so easy questions, with an Helpfile of about 780 kb; ever tried to print that one?

There were thoughts of giving screenshots etc., but with the upcoming new TDS-4 that would have meant a bit double work, so better to have some patience (yes, I know, again you are asked for some patience).

And most of all: don't forget there is the excellent private forum, with lots of info, questions and answers from all kind of users (from newbies to more experienced users).

    And I love this one:

A lot of what you're asking is in the helpfile and in various scripts we created, and for sure some people created interesting "smack intruder" scripts, but to run them, you really need a registered version and the forum grab and discuss them. You can even analyse the tool the intruder is using and smack him in the proper ways, for you'll understand a netbus user is threated differently then a sub-seven user in the smacking process.
You can make your computer a chatbox for a private conversation with your would be intruder, so you really can tell him with self chosen words or means.
Yes you don't need to wait and hide your computer for internet, you can act, you're the one in command on your own system, and would-be intruders might feel very sorry they ever tried on you!

you make a profit and we newbys are no longher confused lol.

Did you try the little configuration script i pasted in the other message, with the talking agent pointing the buttons and what to do for your quick start?

Thank you! Then you certainly should see the wonderful "real" scripts of the smart guys, for your real protection!
I'm glad Wayne was so kind for my pleasure (and of others) to include the MSAgent technology. It helped me with the first steps in scripting in a nice way, seeing results immediately. I know it is possible to have about 300 different agents on your screen but i never would advice nobody to do so and in the scripts i keep it to one at a time.
For me it is trial and error and heeeeHurrayyyy it works! and new discoveries :)
Did you get in the 3.2.1. also the scripts users sent in? Then you defenitely should run the "Innerpeace.ss3" which i created with a <very wiiiiiide grin!>
If you run TDS often and see the friendly greetings, you know why i was so much inspired for that little one.
Glad you got the speaking parts and agents working ok then too!
Andreas included the agents in his marvelous serious protective wonderful script in a very useful way as well; it came with 3.2.1.
Looking at the examples i see now the scripting can be made more "elegant" than done in my first trials, and much more is possible....... this is why i run TDS all time, creating desktop-helper scripts, voice controlled, so i want to be able to call "Help!" and the helpfile opens, no matter where i am in my system, or call "Go to Diamond" and the browser opens and brings me to the DCS site or one of the forums, or i have it opening a new email, etc... play music, tell a joke, this is all included in my "CokeMachine.SS3" btw but i might try to make it nicer some day :)
The example scripts are there to cut and paste from and to understand what is happening and to discuss together in the private forum to work on solutions and find new options.
Yeah, security can be made fun, TDS proofs it :)
