Hello @ Wilders I hope I have got the right forum for this, if not will the moderator move it to the correct one please. As the title says I want to try ElementaryOS by creating a live, persistent USB that I can use in my Windows 10 Desktop PC. What is the easiest way to do this please. It will be the first time I have tried to do this so I need some clear guidance. Thanks for your help Terry
Elemantary doesn't seem to support it: https://elementaryos.stackexchange....-os-from-a-live-usb-while-persisting-its-data Probably a foolproof way is to use 2 USB drives: 1.Make a bootable USB drive using Balena or Rufus 2.Boot from it. 3.Choose option to install Elementary and pick the second USB drive as target. 4.Then boot from the second USB drive any time you want to use Elementary.
sounds like "boot from usb". i dont know how to perform. but if your machine has enough* memory and drive space i would try any os in virtual machine first. for me i use virtualbox from oracle. https://www.virtualbox.org/ * 8gb ram min and 50gb drive space recommended. ssd is superior.
