    usage normal browser internet , email , and microsoft word documents and pdf

    i have thought about kaspersky free version , but i guess windows defender could be enough

    but i don't know what settings should i use to make it safe and no too mush slugish

    would you like to share your windows defender settings maybe with a screenshot?

    Use AndyFul's configurer, and be done with it. Or use DefenderUI, from the maker of Cyberlock (Voodooshield). Also, define sluggish. Is this an old PC? I also use max-ish settings. It's better to be safe that sorry.

    If it is an average user Defender is enough. Adjust it with DefenderUI makes it even more secure, besides the fact that the user can adjust it for himself easily.

    just a notify ...
    i use ConfigureDefender , but there is not a feature for and warning window
    thanks

    Hm, i do not understand what you mean.

    The reason i suggest DefenderUI, is that it has more settings to configure which even a novice can understand.

    @pb1 is correct. If DefenderUI is inadequate, tell us why.

    I think you guys are confused with @mantra 's comments just as he also is.

    @mantra
    Try DefenderUI Pro https://defenderui.com/Download/InstallDefenderUIPro128.exe
    Install it and use it. Study it a bit, before you ask anything else here. :)
