Hi. Is anyone here using this vpn? The reason I am asking is because I had been using them for like two months and then nothing.
Their web page was gone and I could not connect.
Now, two weeks later, I can see the web page, can log in, but still cannot use their service. I am not sure if I am purposely being blocked or they have just gone down. Any information on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

Does anyone have any information on this VPN provider? Or maybe know how I can find out if they are still in operation? I get no reply to my e-mail or calls. Thanks. http://www.canadianvpn.com

Do you have a subscription with them? Why not switch to another service?

Yes. I purchased a six month subscription with them and now cannot get that money back.
I have called and e-mailed them a number of times and no answer.

Before I move on to another company I would like to know if they are still in operation.

There must be someone that was using them. Maybe they will chime in.

Canadian VPN may have been shut down or gone out of business, but I doubt anyone here would know for sure.

I did notice that their alternate domain, canadianvpn.ca, is showing the following error message:

Note that canadianvpn.com and canadianvpn.ca are both the same company, as they both share the same IP address at 65.39.236.102 on Pier 1 Network, Inc.

If you look up the WHOIS information on those domains, you may be able to find some alternate phone numbers/email addresses of the owners(s)... but if the company is just a one-man show then you're probably S.O.L., unfortunately.

Thanks. This info helps me a lot. I wasn't sure if I was being blocked.

They sent me an e-mail warning me not do download any movies.

They stated that a large movie company [starts with a W] sent them a letter to watch out for persons downloading certain Torrents, and then listed them. I certainly would not do that.

The e-mail ended with "You know who you are"

I will try the whois and see what I can find.

The .ca domain is down but the .com canadianvpn is fully operational, and they are accepting new sign ups for what I can see, no mention at all of any downtime. Have you tried to send them an anonymous email asking about their VPN packages to see if they have an overall email problem or just ignoring you? Their FAQ says that they reply to all enquiries in 12 hours.

Yes, the canadianvpn.com is active. I can log in, look at my profile,

even shows me how many days left on my subscription.

I also went on their live chat for about 15 minutes and no one answered

even though it stated that they were online. :argh:HELLOOOOOOOOOOO

I like your idea of the anonymous e-mail. I'll try that and see what

happens. All my regular e-mail have come back. Thanks-Like your web page.

Sounds like you need to start reading this post and find another provider, anyone you pay money to, should be giving you email replies in 24-48hrs, and nothing less!

    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=285780

There's a major change coming to it shortly on the first page post I made as a P.S. at the bottom of that post so keep your eyes out for it and change your service!

    That's TOTAL BS! :thumbd:

Yes , I quite agree with you. I should be looking for another VPN provider

and that is what I am in the process of. But seriously, if you paid out

some $$ for a service and was just cut off would you not want to know

what exactly is the problem? What happened to the service that you

    paid for?

As far as your link that you have provided goes< I have been following

this and think that it is great. One of the best threads on here. Can't

wait to see the whitelist. Will make a decision on a new VPN very shortly.

    Thanks for your input.
