    Any idea where this outfit is based? The description says the free version is ad supported - do you know how the ads are displayed? Is the connection to the Anonymox server encrypted (which would make it useful for privacy when using open WiFi)?

    Well here's a run down on other things;

    1. They look like they are from Germany and Germany has had a reputation in the past on privacy and logging matters, Germany didn't look so hot then, so be careful now. In fact any EU country you have to be careful because of their Data Retention law...

    2. Change your IP-Adresse (to one provided by us), who is this us and what servers?

    3. You can use their servers, or Tor, JonDo, I2P

    4. They are listed on Mozilla; https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/anonymox/
    Not sure how difficult it is to get your plugin on Mozilla, or this proves any credibility...

    MY biggest concern here is a service located in Germany, be careful with that! :doubt:

    I do use images for my system so I'll give it a go and report back, it does look interesting, to bad it's not in Sweden, hehe... ;)

    No, its not like that.

    It uses its own servers in US, DE and UK

    But if you have TOR installed, you can use TOR with that add-on.

    I installed its firefox add-on but when I restarted my firefox, malwarebytes pro blocked ip adresses, so I couldn't use this add-on o_O
