    After working fine for 6 months, we got an error message the other day on startup:

    -->Error loading resident protection
    -->Cannot initialize scanner

    I saw a similar problem posted and the problem was the temporary directory was deleted. I have checked our computer and the temp directory is still there. Any other suggestions? (I have already tried re-installing).

    Jay.

    Hey Jay,

    - do you have also any other Anti-virus software installed on that machine?

    - pls. post here the content of the Control Center "Info" tab from that PC, if possible.

    thanks. :)

    Hi,

    sorry for the trouble. Have found the problem. Control Center was pointed at our server for updates. Our server had crashed and once I pointed the updates towards the website, it started fine.

    Cheers

    Jay.
