New ESET Security Forum Announcement

Hello,

Over the past decade, ESET has been at Wilders Security Forums as the Official ESET Support Forum with employees helping customers and participating in various discussions of ESET products.

Much has changed in ten years, and one of those changes has been the rapid growth of ESET. Wilders Security has been a fantastic partner to ESET, but the time has come for ESET to take the next step in providing support by hosting our own dedicated forum, the ESET Security Forum, at http://forum.eset.com/.

With this new forum, we will be able to manage and respond to your questions more effectively, as well as provide additional access to ESET’s technical support staff.

The new forum will provide dedicated support sections for every ESET product line. Additionally, we will provide sections to collect feedback from our users, such as new feature requests, as well as online assistance with malware removal. We also have plans to integrate this new community with other ESET web sites, such as the ESET Knowledgebase, We Live Security and Virus Radar.

Over the next 2-3 weeks, we will be transitioning support for ESET products from Wilders Security to the new ESET Security Forum. You will continue to be able to start new topics and post new messages here for the next week (or so), after which the ability to start new topics will be disabled and only replies will be allowed. In the week (or so) following that, the contents of the Official ESET Support Forum will be made read-only and moved to the Archived Forums section of Wilders Security.

Due to privacy and security reasons, accounts and conversations will not automatically transfer from Wilders Security to the new forum, although we will be doing our best to start new topics based on active threads here. Also, if you believe someone may be trying to impersonate you on the new forum, please send a private message here to agoretsky, dwomack, foneil, Marcos or P_R_ and we will investigate it

We thank the Wilders Security Administrators, Moderators and especially the members for ten years of service to the ESET community. For ESET users on Wilders Security Forums, we would like to extend to you an invitation to join us at the new ESET Security Forum to continue this collaboration and to expand the ESET community even further.
