Cannot use the ATI Home 11 after installation...

Hi!

When finished installed the ATI HOME 11, I want to click the shortcut on the desktop to start create my image, but this error shown:

II think this usually happens when the istallation went wonky -- usually do to a conflict between some other program and the installer.

I'd try completely uninstalling ATI from the Control Panel -- or to be more thorough follow this link for a complete manual scrub:

After uninstalling ATI, reboot, then run msconfig.exe and on Services tab, check Hide all Microsoft Services, then disable all the remaining services, click on Apply. On the Startup tab, disable everything, then click on Apply. Then close msconfig and reboot.

Then install ATI, reboot, run msconfig and re-enable everything on the Services and Startup tabs, reboot.

That will work in a great many cases.
