    Hi,

Do you have UAC (User Account Control) disabled in Windows?

Could you please describe more what you mean by "no change"? What symptoms are you experiencing, or what are you expecting and not seeing?

    Hi: Thanks:sorry, been away.

    W11Pro 23H2
    Yes, UAC disabled

New Install of 6.0 under Admin account
    Run as admin..see attached picture.

Probably some misunderstanding on my part.

Can you please try enabling UAC, launching SpywareBlaster (which should trigger a UAC prompt), and then see if that permits you to view the status and enable protection?

    Hi @Longboard

    Try this:
    • Open SpywareBlaster and press the "Disable All Protection" link under "Quick Tasks".
    • Close SpywareBlaster.
    • Go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall it
    • Download the latest SpywareBlaster installer and run it as Admin

    Hi,

Please try with UAC enabled, and then just launching normally (i.e. do not use the right-click "Run as administrator" option), and see if that changes the outcome.

If that doesn't yield a different result, we'll probably need some more details about any other system or security software you might have installed (or custom configuration tweaks).

    Thanks!

SpywareBlaster provides regularly-updated protection for many popular, modern web browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Brave, etc.
Its protection is designed to work well alongside other security and privacy tools, ensuring you can benefit from defense-in-depth / layered protection without compromise. :thumb:
