Feds Link $150M Cyberheist to 2022 LastPass Hacks

I use a password manger but this is why I never have my banking information in it.

 

If it's in the cloud it's always in danger.

 

I'm sure glad I deleted my LastPass account and changed all my passwords. Changed over to RoboForm Password Manager using 25 - 40+ characters for passwords now and very satisfied. I haven't heard of RoboForm ever being hacked. It's been a few years now that I deleted my LastPass Account and I'm still getting emails from them with their special discounted prices wanting me to come back. I even hit the unsubscribe.

 

I feel like I should recite the NUMBER 1 mantra for crypto ownership. It is very fundamental that the SEED words (crypto keys) are NEVER placed on anything digital ---- > EVER!! Among seasoned users there is zero chance that a SEED would ever be seen by any computer of any kind. Its absolute !!!!!

 

I liked LastPass until LogMeIn bought them. I haven't trusted the product since.
