Firejail

    How many of you use Firejail on your Linux system or do you find that it's not necessary? Do you use something else besides FJ like bubblewrap?

    I use it for Vivaldi. I don't think it is neccessary

    That depends on your threat scenario.

    Yes, Apparmor with apparmor.d. But your distro must be supported. And I recommend against the latter of you're not familiar with the AppArmor basics.

    Which distro are you using?

    I am on Mint 22.1 (host and VM's) and my use case involves always using VM's for workspace. Conveniently most malware will shut itself down completely after it detects a VM environment, and that is instantly. If not and I get a cootie it is a few seconds to restore a snapshot. At least that is how I approach the subject.
