Looks like it might be a nice app. I'll wait to see if anyone tries it and comments. Currently, I use Open-Shell and I can pretty much customize the Start menu to suit my needs. It's all right there with one click.
Same over here, at the moment it's not clear to me what it brings to the table. I don't see anything that I need.
What some here need is anything like Shadow Defender. I wonder why Dan doesn't develop an alternative to it.
TaskbarPlus is an easy-to-use utility for quick access to files, folders, apps, websites, and such. You can drag and drop, right-click, use the context menu, etc., to create a link in TaskbarPlus. You can also pin TaskbarPlus to keep it open.
I see the same, too. But, for each user what we see is individualized. Such is possible, for example: >>>>
Warning... I lost the following, i.e. snipping tool and and, also the Right-click context menu when I wanted to scan a file in my documents folder. But, a reboot brought them back. >>>> P.S. The images that captured in the immediate posts, earlier today, were taken with 'skip & sketch, on 10 second delay. I had never used it or heard of it until today.
I will/should notify the developer. But, I am running on empty at the moment with my laptop battery, so will have to do so, later on, today. Plus, I have cut into my 'sleeping time'.
Has real potential...but obviously only if you need the features. Really depends on how you use the Taskbar, although I can see myself using it more as a result of installing TaskbarPlus.
I agree with Baldrick. Basically it puts an icon on the taskbar which, when clicked, opens a new menu below the taskbar with a bunch of other submenus you can add links to; theoretically anything from what I gather. It's not a bad idea; it beats the Windows 10 Start menu by a mile. I use Open-Shell which gives me the same functionality in the Start menu. I'm not really wild about the idea of another icon on my taskbar; but if I didn't have Open-Shell I'd probably use it.
