I wouldn't use a sandbox in your case, because your security setup is already quite strong. Of course it depends on the sites you visit and other things you do at the internet.

You could try SandboxIE,it's very light on resources, doesn't impact upon browsing speed plus you can disable 'start with Windows' if you just want to use it now and then.Having said that you have a high degree of security with your current setup already.

It's more than enough. Actually CIS alone is enough but for a person like me I absolutely hate popups and prompts so I would never use it. The only HIPS for me is something like Prevx. You could add some kind of backup solution. I use Rollback-RX :)

But...wouldn't that eliminate the rationale for most of the forums on this website ??

not really :D any OS got its problem :D we are just lucky enough that unix developers discovered what GUI means so we do have other viable options other than that(well not gamers..nor ati users..or soundblaster..oh what the heck :D )

    My signature says it all.

I own a life licence for DefenseWall and a normal one for GesWall.
DefenseWall is the best, but becomes heavier with time (maybe only impression).

I am a fan of GW implementation, as it uses system core potential at full capacity and is by design integrated in the OS (last version not fully compatible with Vista, and disapointing...).

But in terms of usability on everyday basis, nothing beats LUA + SRP associated with an in-depth Group Policy config and a strong password policy, for speed, stability, and wife use...

this a potential real-time setup, i wanna know ur opinion before i go with it:

    Real-Time:

    - Avira PE Premium
    - Zemana Antilogger (cuz it has some HIPS function along with its keylogger protection)
    - Windows FW

reason im thinking to get rid of CIS, although its nice using CIS, it has just reinforced my hate for software FW and how the just create more issues for me with programs trying to connect and work properly. so im seeing if Zemana would make up for a light, quiet HIPS, does Zemana's System Defence or w/e its called provide adequate protection against infection? tell me your thoughts plz
