    You all know this test:

    https://coveryourtracks.eff.org/

    This is my result with:
    • Firefox + uBlock Origin.= 18.0 Bits of Identifying Information
    https://ibb.co/d061ghL0

    Testing with:

    • Edge + uBlock Origin lite + Ping blocker = 15.42 Bits of Identifying Information
    https://ibb.co/fzqvTJzT

    gave me this surprise.

I wondered is it possible that the low Bits of Identifying Information result is due to the MV3 adblock?

    So I did a follow-up check with:

    • Chrome + AdGuard adBlocker v.5.0.202 = 15.42 Bits of Identifying Information
    https://ibb.co/1tS96Sb0

The result was a big surprise.:confused:

Our tests indicate that you have strong protection against Web tracking.
Currently, we estimate that your browser has a fingerprint that conveys at least 18.01 bits of identifying information.

Your browser has a unique fingerprint
Your browser fingerprint appears to be unique among the 263,567 tested in the past 45 days.

And that is what always gives you away.

The more you hide the more you are visible. Blocking some tracking is preferable, blocking too much is revealing, you stick out like a sore thumb.

Just the fact that you are using Ping blocker, used only by 684 Users worldwide.

Then again I got the same result 17.01 without and with uBlock Origin lite + Ping blocker.

I don't trust these type of sites to provide credible information.

If it works in your use case there is nothing better than the TOR browser. TOR's entire design is to make you look EXACTLY the same as every other TOR user. By using the browser out of the box you are the same as millions of others. I spend many hours a day on TOR in clearnet. Still some onion use too but mostly clearnet. Its fast enough for me and I'll gladly give up some speed for such a hardened environment. My .02

ps - I do use VPN's in front to keep my ISP off my back, LOL!

    For what it's worth:

Thanks to LibreWolf with (default installed) NoScript. It doesn't say anything about other (more important?) kinds of tracking.

Is it hard to understand that I installed Ping Blocker for privacy purposes, for Beacon blocking, and not for anti-fingerprint reasons?
Which is an extension moreover not detected (but I don't care) even on the Chrome Extensions Detection test.
Moreover, CYT does not consider such parameters to process fingerprinting data...........
