MS sure is a greedy piece of work aren't they?

I will comb over some sites (which i'm already doing) and see if something sticks. Thanks @xxJackxx for your heads up and i am fully prepared to meet with failure if that happens. Besides, i may not even favor it even if it does work.

Gathering other data posts it's still not fully clear why the normal Win 11 upgrade created such a near disaster on the Completely Supported system. I need to dig deeper about my Intel Chip CPU because some have reported similar issues until a Bios Update despite being a fairly new PC.

For the record, Microsoft is wasted so many users time fishing out their incompetence over the years and seems is only grown worse with situations just like this.

@EASTER , Oh man, what a nightmare experience you've had! I'm glad Hasleo at least got you back up and running. Best of luck with future updates.

The single most Shining Star and it definitely rescued what was nearly a dire situation.

All is well on this end, crisis averted, in this instance Hasleo Backup Suite (And Features) Normally Sector to Sector is simply a dormant section.

The most annoying part is not being able to pin programs to the taskbar...

Interesting though I have never seen ReFS used anywhere and I have to use a 3rd party utility to format FAT32 partitions of any decent size.

Slightly OT, but what I still can't understand is why on earth in all these years, M$ never added certain features to Windows Explorer, like the ability to search/select files by typing the first 2 letters, and also no ability to select multiple files and then to copy/paste them all at once. For example, you can do this stuff with XYplorer and CopyWhiz.

Personally I wouldn't do it anyway. More problems than advantages.

Absolutely. If you've got to force the install, you're just looking for problems. Twenty-some years ago I might've tried something like this, but I crave stability these days.

    (Damn: I've gotten old.)
