Who cares about third party cookies, you have always been able to turn them off in any browser. Apparently, not a lot of people actually do this, so this explains why advertisers were so worried. But from what I understood, many of them are now using ''sneaky'' first party cookies to track people.
I would have said the same but I don't see the setting in Firefox anymore. Not sure if they are including it in some other privacy settings or if it is just gone.

Wow, doesn't sound good at all. But seems like in Firefox they call them Cross-Site Tracking Cookies, which is being blocked when you're using the Standard settings.
