    If you have not yet uninstalled Adobe Flash Player from your OS, you need to search the Microsoft Update Catalog for the KB4577586 update specific to your OS and manually start the installation of the msu file.:thumb:;):)

    I don't like waiting until 2021, presumably January 12, to get Flash off my OSes.
    If some W. members want to wait good for them.
    I have already removed Flash from my Win.10 and Win.XP OSes.

    All versions Adobe Flash Player newer than 32.0.0.371 contain a time-bomb.
    After 12-Jan-2021 local SWF-files does not playback. The latest working version is 32.0.0.371.

    Besides Ruffle it could be worth mentioning the Lightspark project:
