thank you for your reply! Exists in the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ VideoLAN \ VLC VLC version is vlc-3.0.11-win64 How does the key point to vlc.exe
Predefined key contains the path to vlc.exe. BSA reads the registry and gets the path to VLC from there. If the entry or the key is missing that would explain why the video is not being created. Maybe the problem is the command line BSA is using to record got obsolete. I must check that with the version you mentioned. Another question... Are you running BSA in manual or automatic mode?
Video recording is a feature only available in automatic mode. Now you can't do anything else. You must wait until I try VLC 3.0.11 and check if it's working.
I found the problem. It's related to permissions accessing certain HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE keys under 64bit OS. Download this binary: https://1fichier.com/?l2iwso52xm49h8y6adl8 replace the old BSA.EXE and let me know if it works, please.
Record settings produce a small sized video file because it's not really useful recording at a high bitrate. If you need more resolution I suggest you disable the feature in BSA and record screen yourself. I will release a new BSA version fixing problems related to this bug.
If you have PEiD information enabled, disable it. If BSA continues stopping, then disable one feature at a time and check if it works fine. If you find what feature is stopping BSA, please let me know.
Released BSA 1.90. Changes: - Fixed a bug with VLC video recording. - Fixed a bug in the access to certain registry keys under 64bit OS. - Changed the way some registry values are presented in the reports.
"bsa2" sandbox should have this configuration in Sandboxie.ini: OpenPipePath=\Device\NamedPipe\BSA100
