    Hi,

I just received an email from sales@sandboxie giving me two offers as I entered the last Sandboxie Pro Lifetime giveaway ,

    sbie.png

Maybe the most exciting offer here the one for the lifetime license as it has been discontinued, and maybe this will be the last offer, don't know!

Sorry about cutting the full url in the email because maybe there is a unique url and coupon for every recipient, hope not!

So for now, I encourage everyone who entered that giveaway and want Sandboxie Lifetime license and don't mind to buy for it , I encourage them to check their inbox

PS: I have a lifetime license for sandboxie but I am thinking seriously to get another license!

EDIT : WSFfan confirms that the URL for the lifetime license offer is the same for all users , here is the URL http://goo.gl/alkmpn

Just purchased, but then I wondered, this is for a lifetime "personal" license. Does that mean it is for only one PC? Guess I'll find out.

Congratulations, Focus. You did good for yourself.

Perhaps, you would like to follow up on the thread below. I ll see what I can find out but I believe the terms are the same as they were in the past when the lifetime license was available all year round. You should be able to use the license in any computer that you personally own. And the license should be good for as long as SBIE is developed and maintained.

OK, so lifetime means that you can use it on any PC, not just one? That´s kinda cool. :)

Hi Rasheed, lifetime licenses can be used in any PC, as long as you own the PC.

I would like your opinions. Should I buy it? I already have a lifetime license. And I am using Q360IS which comes with a sandbox and which allows me to automaticvally starts browser and whatever I want in it. I contacted Qihoo support and enquired about whether future release will come with the sandbox, they said it will come with the sandbox.

Why do you want to buy another one when you already have a lifetime license that is valid for use on all the PCs owned by you?:p

Cause in the future, who knows if Qihoo will still have thier sandbox or who knows whether I will still stick with Qihoo. And I will have like 4 computers. I am not sure "how many" device can you install sandboxie on. What if I own like 1000 computer? No way 1 license can install for 1000 pcs. The 1000 pcs was just an example. :p

If you own four computers and all of them are for personal use (not for work), then you can use your SBIE lifetime license in all four of them.

And how to prevent those 1000 chinese users sharing/selling the same licence. Perhaps some marketing gimmick from Invincea, but I cannot understand. I really don't.

Jarmo:cool:, as you know, I know you bought the one year license the day after the lifetime license was discontinued. This special offer that's available right this moment for the lifetime license includes a discount, last year when you bought your one year license, you paid about 15 Euros, the discount for this offer is about 10, so it comes out about even. Jarmo, I think you ought to get one of this licenses if you have enjoyed using Sandboxie this past year. If you have not, then don't.

Well if you want to use a program similar to sandboxie for free, there is Q360IS. But too bad it came with an AV. The sandbox in Q360IS works exactly like sandboxie. Can allow what program you want to lauch automaticaly in sandbox, right click run sandbox.

You know my stand. I won't acquire some licence than can be abused, shared or even sold further by some thieves !!!

Yes, I liked SBIE, not so much anymore when only betas are offered instead give a problems solved official release. I'll propably renew my annual license one day though.

With stand you shouldn't buy any licensed software. Besides not sure it makes sense as when the license can be abused it doesn't hurt the user near as much as the vendor. If you ever really want to use SBIE, which you should, NOW is the time.

I have "used" SBIE a very a long time. Perhaps longer time than you. I have the license, so maybe shut up for the advertisements. I get mad very easy and so far peter your posts have been appreciated my me. This post you did I don't know why or what ever reason.

I think it would be a good idea for Invincea, to limit all licenses to let´s say 3 PC´s, I think that´s fair enough. :)
