    Hi:

I got windows 8 pro installed finally but now when I ran Hitman pro it detected a trojan in system32 folder called " Windows.UI.Immersive.dll" by its Ikarus engine and when I scanned it with virustotal it gave a detection of 3 out of 44 by anvira, ikarus and trendmicro housecall. I did a search online and it seems it has something to do with the metro UI of win 8 and its MS signed. So does anyone know for sure it is a false positive and a safe dll?

Thanks in advance for your help.

report the detection to the vendor and let them determine/fix if FP or not

ok. Also anyone here with windows 8, please tell me if hitman pro or the same dll which is in system32 folder called " Windows.UI.Immersive.dll" also shows being detected as trojan? Also can someone check theirs against virustotal and let me know please? Thanks in advance.

If you put the file name Windows.UI.Immersive.dll into here

    http://www.isthisfilesafe.com/

you can then click on each one in the list which will show you the file size and MD5 and SHA-1 of each one.

Then you have a bit more info to search around with.
