    Hi to all,

I was wondering if there is an option is the Anti-Spam module that will allow to mark as SPAM the e-mails missed by the scanner and not flagged as SPAM. And also the reverse action: to mark as NOT spam some e-mails that were flagged by the module as SPAM.

Maybe some experienced user can help? C.S.J. maybe? :)

    Thank you.

Dont get this wrong Chris because I do like the Web. But they are so close to perfection in their product, but yet so far to. It is like they can work the puzzle faster then anyone, but in the end dont see the obvious hole for the last piece.

I was only offering a observation, didn’t mean it to be a self diagnosis. I apologize.

I alternate between Avira Premium and Dr. Web 4.44. The Anti-Spam module of Dr. Web is the best I have tested- and I have tested them all. This means that Dr. Web does miss some spam and some legitimate mail is flagged as spam, but it is better than all others- including Cloudmark (the best of the rest). As Chris has shown above, you can submit errors to them.

Overall, you should be happy with Dr.Web's Anti-Spam engine. :)

Actually, I am happy with their anti-spam, I just was wondering why they left out such a feature. Maybe in the (near) future...

so, for curiosity, whats the hole you want filling?

i know, and i know my replies may sound like im having a go, but im not. ;)

but something obviously bothers you about the doctor, so what is it?

if you dont ask questions, you wont find answers.

are drweb even aware or given any comments on the thing you want?....

if so, they should have told you were THEY stand on the matter.

they have things to implement, things to release and deadlines to meet like everyone else does, remember this.

not much and thanks. I think, at least with Vista it is to cumbersome to look at logs. There has to be a better way. Kind of like the way VBA does it. Web is a great product, and the gui and the multiple tray icons are fine, but I just want it easier to see the logs and maybe not so many different types.

You can get rid of (hide) all of the tray icons-not essential (for me) and you can even have the good Dr. update without the balloon popping up in the the system tray.

Ask them. Features some of us would like to have are not in many AVs.

    FYI

you can request such a feature at http://bugs.drweb.com and selecting 'Feature Request' when you make your post.
