netgear dg834 v3 firmware

    I'm not sure whether ive double posted this ,so apologies if i have.Can anyone make out whether the latest firmware is for UK or not.The link here..

    says its not for outside north america ,but not for users in north america..o_O?
    anyone understand this?

    Thanks for reply..
    Ive seen that page and alaready have that firmware, however the latest version doesnt seem to clarify exactly who can use it.I suspect it is for US ,however the notes are very contradictory with it.

    I would, personally, wait for a official UK release. Netgear do usually offer a separate UK firmware (version) update.

    i wonder if they've brought out an update for the DG834GT yet? i rang up netgear about 1 year ago to complain about the firmware on that! if you scan it with nmap there are a couple of servers running on it, i was able to telnet in to it using busybox :rolleyes:

    i wonder if you can hack them like those WRT54G?

    at the bottom it mentions the DG834Gv2, can they be hacked like the Linksys routers? they do already run linux. i'd like to put some other firmware on mine.
