I received the 'End of Support' message this morning at boot on my Windows 10 machine (not eligible for update to Win 11)
I really disliked the fact you couldn't just turn off the full screen message you have to agree for it to show again later in order to dismiss it..

What really annoyed me is that it triggered auto silent mode on my AV (Emsisoft) stopping any scheduled scans.

Windows 10 users who sign in using local accounts may see Sign in to your Microsoft account nags when they open the Settings app. The functionality is rolling out in release preview builds of Windows 10. Soon, it will be released as part of a stable update, likely the May 2024 security update for the operating system.

But wait, it doesn't even back up the entire device. Ah well, it's the care and concern that matters.

Yet another reason I've started my migration away from Windows. Though, I get the same "you're too stupid to be using this device by yourself" hand-holding on my phone from Android. How many times do I have to decline backing up my photos to the cloud?? I do it myself via usb cable, but apparently that's not smart enough for Google.
